Maintenance Program Administration

Aircraft & Assembly Configuration Control

Aircraft and assembly templates allow RAAS customers to define precisely what needs to be installed, how many of an item needs to be installed, and the position labels for each item. RAAS’s template management scheme encompasses all items, including ADs, SBs, checks or individual MPD tasks, documents, components, and subcomponents. Templates can be used to manage aircraft, ground equipment, major and & minor assemblies, and even assemblies that are off-wing.

The powerful templating features are employed at various points of user workflow to ensure day-to-day user actions are aligned with template guidelines, in turn ensuring aircraft and assemblies remain fully configured.

Defect Management & Reliability Analysis

RAAS constantly monitors data such as defect report rate, deferral rate, the reason for delay, etc., and proactively notifies users if relative rates are beyond thresholds.

RAAS’ browser-based nature allows third-party MROs to directly access their work packages, retrieve fleet-specific instructions, and record compliance details directly into your RAAS database in real-time.

Open Data Architecture

RAAS is developed upon the industry-standard Microsoft SQL Server database platform, and by extension, modern mechanisms of direct data access and data mining are available. We natively support analytical reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau, or even raw data extracted to Microsoft Excel.

RAAS is a modern web browser-based solution, allowing substantial flexibility in delivering the application to our customers and end-users. Options include deployment on AIS’ Azure host instance, customer-owned cloud host instances using Azure, AWS or other, or even customer on-premises.
