Network Requirements
RAAS is a true Internet/Intranet system which means that RAAS will operate properly on any IP network and will operate properly according to IP routing standards. Because RAAS operates in a web-browser it is also implied that RAAS is a true thin-client application and therefore requires no special network bandwidth considerations.
If RAAS is to be operated efficiently on the Internet it is strongly suggested that client sites accessing the Internet be equipped with ISDN at a minimum. DSL or Cable is recommended. RAAS will operate using analogue telephone dial-in Internet connections but will suffer signification speed degradation due to the limited communication bandwidth available. At most, only one or two users can share a single analogue telephone dial-in Internet connection.
